The Special Prosecutor\u2019s Office of Kosovo has filed another indictment in absentia against the defendant with the initials \u00c7.A. He is accused of war crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe accused, in the time period from January to May 1999, cooperating with a group of criminal people (so far unidentified), organized, dressed in police, paramilitary, military uniforms, committed the criminal offense \u2018War crime against the civilian population\u2019,\u201d says the announcement of the Special Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
The Special Prosecution has proposed to the court that the trial be held in absentia, since \u201call efforts to find the accused have been exhausted\u201d.<\/p>\n
