Socialist Party officials celebrated their triumph in the three municipalities where the counting process has ended.<\/p>\n

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj declared that their victory in the municipality of Vora is a clear message.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor two decades, we hadn\u2019t won Vora. It was a stronghold of the democrats, used as a deposit where buses were filled for protests. Vora gave us a message that we must move forward. I want to thank Blerim Shera. This is a totally renewed Socialist Party. We were given a record-breaking trust by the people, with 75% of their votes,\u201d said Veliaj.<\/p>\n

The Organizational Secretary of the SP, Damian Gjiknuri came in to support their winning candidate in Elbasan, Gledian Llatja, who was confirmed mayor for another mandate.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve obtained one of the most historical victories in Elbasan. We had the best candidate and the best team. We had the calmest campaign. You deserve this victory,\u201d said Gjiknuri.<\/p>\n

Rakip Suli who came out victorious in the race for Kamza, said that the citizens buried the \u201cnon grata\u201d politics, referring to Sali Berisha.<\/p>\n

\u201cKamza has men and women, boys and girls, who gave the clear message that Albania isn\u2019t the property of any political party. Today Kamza politically buried the \u2018non grata\u2019, who betrayed them for 30 years,\u201d Suli told Euronews Albania.<\/p>\n

The \u201cTogether We Win\u201d coalition candidate, Bardh Spahia earlier claimed victory in the municipality of Shkodra. However, the political leader of this district from the SP, Elisa Spiropali reminded him to take Kamza as an example.<\/p>\n

\u201cBardh, take a look at the result in Kam\u00ebz, breathe and be prepared,\u201d Spiropali said in a Facebook<\/strong><\/a> post.<\/p>\n

The SP political leader of the Fier district, Taulant Balla spoke about the socialists\u2019 expectations. Even though there was a lower turnout compared to previous years, Balla said that they expect victory with over 60% of the votes in every municipality.<\/p>\n
