{"id":52804,"date":"2023-05-14T22:58:39","date_gmt":"2023-05-14T20:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=52804"},"modified":"2023-05-14T22:58:39","modified_gmt":"2023-05-14T20:58:39","slug":"council-of-europe-congress-observes-local-elections-in-albania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/council-of-europe-congress-observes-local-elections-in-albania\/","title":{"rendered":"Council of Europe Congress observes local elections in Albania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 16-member delegation from the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe will carry out an election observation mission from 12 to 15 May to observe the elections for mayors and local councilors in the 61 municipalities of Albania.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the Election Day, the delegation, led by Stewart Dickson (United-Kingdom, ILDG), will meet with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), members of the diplomatic corps as well as with representatives of political parties and candidates running in the elections.<\/p>\n<p>Joint briefings are also scheduled with the OSCE\/ODIHR Core Team.
