“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given an official announcement”, he said, emphasizing that “extending the detention goes against the sense of public justice and the European perception of the rule of law”. But there are also other things that are not said in public, added Dendias.<\/p>\n
“I also met my Albanian counterpart and told her everything that many people understand that I should tell her. We don’t want to put anyone in a difficult position, but on the other hand, not only the Greek government, but also the EU will not tolerate violations of the rule of law from a country in Europe”, said the head of Greek diplomacy. “When we say to all the countries that there should be independent justice, all the countries that are on the path to membership, and we rightly say this, there is no way that this cannot be opposed and not implemented, so have independent justice”, added Dendia.<\/p>\n
