In this area, many communities live together, we give and take, but we still maintain our identity. In the most archaic way today we have revealed the most inherited values \u200b\u200bover the centuries. The mosaic of values \u200b\u200bof Gjirokastra, Lab\u00ebria, Lunx\u00ebria, Libohova, Dropulli together make the monument of Albanian wonders, especially that of the Drino valley where we live&#8221;, says Shk\u00eblqim Gu\u00e7e, director of Antigone Archaeological Park.<\/p>\n<p>The archaeological city of Antigone rises on the hill of Jerma, on the right side of the middle course of the Drino river, in the southwest of the village of Saraqinishte in the district of Gjirokastra.<\/p>\n<p>Antigone was formed as a large and important economic, social, cultural and political center from the beginning of the century.
