June 14th<\/sup> will bring together the governments of Albania and Kosovo.<\/p>\n

This will be the first meeting between Prime Ministers Albin Kurti and Edi Rama after the latter\u2019s proposal of a draft for the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities in Kosovo and after Kurti\u2019s clear message that the proposal is not welcome.<\/p>\n

The two governments will sign some new agreements, as well as declarations and memorandums as listed below:<\/p>\n

  1. Memorandum of Understanding on the Prevention of Violent Extremism and the Fight against Terrorism;<\/li>\n
  2. Joint Declaration on Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of Security;<\/li>\n
  3. Agreement on Cooperation in Facilitating Procedures at Border Inspection Points for Non-Animal Origin Products;<\/li>\n
  4. Cooperation Agreement in the Phytosanitary Field;<\/li>\n
  5. Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Higher Education and Scientific Research (scholarship allocation);<\/li>\n
  6. MOU \u201cFor the Implementation of the Joint Olympiad in the Albanian Language for 9th<\/sup> Grade in Pre-University Education\u201d;<\/li>\n
  7. Agreement on the Exchange of Experiences Regarding Participation in International Student Assessments and Professional Development of Teachers;<\/li>\n
  8. Agreement on the Recognition of the Right to Practice the Professions of Lawyer and Mediator in Dispute Resolution;<\/li>\n
  9. Additional Protocol to the Cooperation Agreement on the Provision of Health Services;<\/li>\n
  10. Memorandum of Cooperation in the Field of Inspections;<\/li>\n
  11. Cooperation Agreement in the Field of Theater;<\/li>\n
  12. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment;<\/li>\n
  13. Technical Agreement on \u201cCooperation in the Field of Military Medicine\u201d;<\/li>\n
  14. Memorandum of Cooperation regarding \u201cFacilitating Transit Procedures for the Passage of Military Goods for the Purposes and Needs of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    According to the agenda, the meetings will start at 11:00 am, when the delegation of the Albanian Government is also expected to arrive.<\/p>\n

    The opening of the plenary session of the joint meeting between the two governments of Kosovo and Albania will take place at 11:30 am at the City Library in Gjakova.<\/p>\n

    A joint photo is scheduled for 12:40 pm.<\/p>\n

    At 12:45 pm, the intergovernmental agreements will be signed at the \u201cHadi Shehu\u201d City Theater.<\/p>\n

    The joint press conference of Prime Ministers Albin Kurti and Edi Rama will be held at 1:15 pm, also at this theater.<\/p>\n

    As part of the agenda, homage will be paid at the Memorial of Martyrs in Gjakova at 1:45 pm.<\/p>\n

    This is the ninth joint meeting of the two governments, where parties have signed 41 bilateral, inter-ministerial and inter-institutional agreements so far.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
