Serbia\u2019s President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 has stated that no soldiers or police officers from Serbia have crossed the border into Kosovo.<\/p>\n
He said that Serbian police arrested three Kosovo police officers 1.8 kilometers away from the border.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese individuals have no business in the Tresava-Batnjik area without the approval of KFOR,\u201d Vu\u010di\u0107 said on Serbian Radio Television (RTS), adding that the Serbian Army was 20 kilometers away from the place of arrest.<\/p>\n
Vu\u010di\u0107 said that \u201cwe are at a crossroads whether we will continue to have peace or not\u201d.<\/p>\n
He accused Kosovo\u2019s Prime Minister Albin Kurti of wanting to \u201cprovoke war and conflicts\u201d under any condition.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will see what the true intentions of those arrested were,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Commenting on media reports that the Government of Kosovo has halted imports of goods from Serbia, Vu\u010di\u0107 said that this shows that \u201cyou want to torture people in the north, deprive them of medicine and basic food\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Government of Kosovo decided to ban the entry of vehicles with Serbia\u2019s license plates into the state\u2019s territory.<\/p>\n
The Kosovo Police stated that on the afternoon of June 14th<\/sup>, three police officers were suspected to have been abducted by Serbian forces during a patrol in an area called Tresave\/Bare on the northern border of Kosovo.<\/p>\n The Police described it as a \u201cclassic organized kidnapping\u201d within the territory of Kosovo.<\/p>\n The location of Tresave\/Bare is in the municipality of Leposavi\u0107, within the territory of Kosovo.<\/p>\n State leaders in Kosovo have condemned this action, which they have referred to as an \u201cact of aggression\u201d, and have called on the international community to condemn Serbia and for the police officers to be immediately released.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Serbia\u2019s President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 has stated that no soldiers or police officers from Serbia have crossed the border into Kosovo.
