President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today hosted a delegation of the Austria-Kosovo Friendship Group in the Parliament of Austria, consisting of deputies from various political parties in Austria.<\/p>\n
On the meeting is discussed the latest developments in the field of security and the situation in the north.<\/p>\n
As the Office of the President announces, Osmani has mentioned the continuous destructive actions of Serbia, which have the direct aim of destabilizing Kosovo.<\/p>\n
“On this occasion, President Osmani said that dealing with justice of the criminal groups supported by Serbia that attacked the Kosovo Police, KFOR and EULEX members, journalists and citizens is necessary. President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo is committed to contributing to the peace and stability of the country and the region, in coordination with the allies”, Osmani is quoted as saying.<\/p>\n
In the meeting with the Austrian delegation, President Osmani thanked the state of Austria for its support to Kosovo throughout the years, while she expressed her willingness to open new chapters of cooperation between our two countries. In this regard, President Osmani also mentioned the vital role of our diaspora in Austria as a connecting bridge of bilateral cooperation, as well as in the further strengthening of excellent interstate relations.<\/p>\n
President Osmani added that Kosovo appreciates Austria’s important support for the integration of Kosovo in the EU and other international organizations, stressing that the advancement of Kosovo in the international arena brings more stability and prosperity for all citizens, without distinction.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, on the meeting is discussed the possibilities of increasing cooperation between Kosovo and Austria, so in this context, President Osmani mentioned the economic potential that Kosovo has, as well as the favorable environment for foreign investors.
