Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, has appealed to the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, to listen to the recommendation of the official Budapest and return the arrested policemen of Kosovo to their country.<\/p>\n
“With respect, I beg you, dear Alexandar, to think this through. Serbia’s enemies are eager to harm Serbia and this is such a situation and case that I think it would be better for you to listen to Hungary’s recommendation to return them to Kosovo,” Obran said in Subotica, during meeting with high officials of Serbia.<\/p>\n
He added that this would help Serbia “in its own cause”.<\/p>\n
“Therefore, I am asking you to think about this,” Orban said.<\/p>\n
On June 14, three Kosovo border police were arrested by Serbian forces. Serbia said they were arrested “deep” inside its territory, but Kosovo said they were patrolling in Kosovo territory, near the border line with Serbia in Leposavic.<\/p>\n
The policemen have been remanded in custody for a month and are being held in a prison in Kralev\u00eb.<\/p>\n
According to the Serbian authorities, the policemen are suspected of having committed the criminal offences: production, possession, possession and illegal trafficking of weapons and explosives.<\/p>\n
