They also experienced a huge spike on their website after the filming of \u201cWie Is De Mol?\u201d, with people wanting to know more about Albania as a vacation destination.<\/p>\n According to TV expert Ron Vergouwen, the popularity of a country due to TV programs is influenced by the way it is portrayed on screen.<\/p>\n \u201cTelevision is one big travel guide,\u201d he says. \u201cEverything is filmed so beautifully; no travel brochure can compare.\u201d<\/p>\n He sees this not only with \u201cWie Is De Mol?\u201d but also with the locations featured in \u201cChateau Meiland\u201d, which have become more popular, as well as Woudrichem, which became well-known due to the filming of \u201cDokter Tinus\u201d (Doctor Tinus).<\/p>\n However, it\u2019s not just the TV program that played a role.
