The Director of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovi\u0107 accused the authorities of Kosovo of \u201cplanting\u201d the weapons found during an operation in northern Kosovo on June 23.<\/p>\n
In a press conference, Petkovi\u0107 stated that the weapons, which were discovered by the Kosovo Police near the municipality of Zve\u010dan, had been confiscated earlier during operations for the disarmament of citizens in Kosovo.<\/p>\n
Kosovo\u2019s Minister of Interior Xhelal Sve\u00e7la stated on June 23 that a \u201cterrorist attack had been prevented\u201d thanks to the intensive engagement of the special units of the Kosovo Police.<\/p>\n
According to him, a vehicle with Belgrade license plates was identified approximately 100 meters from the municipality of Zve\u010dan, carrying a large quantity of weapons, explosive devices, and ammunition.<\/p>\n
He also shared some photos of the weapons on his Facebook<\/strong><\/a> page.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is further evidence that Serbia, through such groups and organizations, aims to destabilize our country,\u201d Sve\u00e7la said among other things.<\/p>\n\r\n
