In the stone fortress of Gjirokastra, on Saturday evening, the organization of the National Folklore Festival opened.<\/p>\n
The Folkloric Festival returns after an 8-year absence in the stone city, registering the largest nationwide celebration of tradition and folk.<\/p>\n
FFK Gjirokast\u00ebr 2023 marks its 11th edition. With a contemporary level of organization, on the first night of the event, ensembles and popular groups from Kuk\u00ebs and Berat regions as well as the Albanian Ensemble of Folk Songs and North Macedonia dancers performed on the Argjiro castle stage.<\/p>\n
Folk artists brought the best values \u200b\u200bof songs, folk dances, rituals, ethnography of the areas they represented.<\/p>\n
The artistic scene of the festival was moved to the square “\u00c7er\u00e7iz Topulli” where Elif Sanchez&Band and Dren Abazi&Band performed in front of many tourists and residents who followed with great interest the first night of FFK Gjirokast\u00ebr 2023.
