Democratic Party of Kosovo MP M\u00ebrgim Lushtaku has announced he will file a lawsuit against Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Besnik Bislimi, Minister of Justice Albulena Haxhiu, and Minister of Finance Hekuran Murati, following the physical clashes during the plenary session of the Kosovo Assembly on July 13.<\/p>\n

In a press conference held in the lobby of the Kosovo Assembly, Lushtaku stated that the water throwing towards Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi, as well as the display of banners, was a \u201cpolitical action\u201d in response to the leaked recordings.<\/p>\n

In recent days, the opposition, including during this session, has been critical of the government after leaked recordings of the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Self-Determination Movement Mimoza Kusari-Lila were published in the media. She has admitted to having a conversation with the Deputy Leader of the Serb List, Milan Radoi\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n

Lushtaku claimed that he was hit with a water-filled bottle by Bislimi, pushed by Minister Haxhiu, and struck with what he described as a strong object by Minister Murati.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never planned to have a violent reaction. My action was political, and as such, I used water. I believe everyone needs a refreshment, especially this government, which is more in favor of Serbia and Russia than Kosovo itself and the national strategy. I will sue these individuals mentioned above, and certainly the authorities will have their say,\u201d said Lushtaku.<\/p>\n

Kurti was speaking about the situation in northern Kosovo when his speech was interrupted by opposition deputies shouting \u201cliar\u201d to him.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, Lushtaku approached the lectern and sprayed water, leading to physical clashes between Democratic Party of Kosovo deputies and members of the government cabinet.<\/p>\n

The Assembly later suspended proceedings, going into recess, as Speaker Glauk Konjufca stated that conditions were not conducive to continue the session.<\/p>\n
