The perfect mix between mountain, sea and cultural tourism make Shkod\u00ebr the most favorite place for tourists who consider it a land still “undiscovered” and perfect for resting.<\/p>\n
Under the mayor of Shkod\u00ebr, Rudin Beka, tells Euronews Albania that there is an increase in tourists throughout the territory of the municipality, while he says that measures are being taken to manage traffic, which is one of the most worrying problems in Shkod\u00ebr.<\/p>\n
“This tourist season has started very well, with energy and a lot of work on the primary needs, starting with the municipality working at no cost, giving an impact as quickly as possible on the cleaning and freeing of public spaces up to the circulation that we have made some interventions. “- said Rudin Beka, deputy mayor of Shkod\u00ebr Municipality.<\/p>\n
“We have given a lot of priority to tourist areas like Thethi, where we have greatly increased the frequency of garbage collection and electricity, which has had a positive effect.”<\/p>\n
This season is a challenge, says Beka, as the municipality is in a transition phase and there are still points that need to be improved.<\/p>\n
“The project for the entrance of Shkodra is a concrete project that expects to start very soon. But we must understand that it has two phases. The comment phase that we are in today is the emergency phase, so we just have to coordinate the direction of the roads and the movement of spaces, the release of parking lots and the asphalting of the Ba\u00e7allek bridge. I believe that next year we will start with the project for the entrance of Shkodra, which will be one of the most beautiful projects and will be a breath of fresh air for the city” – added Beka.<\/p>\n
Thethi remains the most favorite for tourists, while neither Velipoja nor cultural tourism is left behind.<\/p>\n
