The American dollar was exchanged at 93.22 lek, down 3.33 lek compared to the end of last week. The British pound was exchanged at 119.8 lek, down 3.92 lek from a week ago.<\/p>\n<p>It seems that the strengthening of the local currency is having a negative effect on the exporting sectors of the economy, on business, tourism, but also on the fashion sector.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the strengthening of the Lek is making imports cheaper, causing Albania to have lower inflation compared to other countries in the region.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a week of growth, the exchange rate between Euro and Lek has marked a sharp drop.
