The five Albanian ministers from the ranks of DUI in North Macedonia officially submitted their conditional resignations to Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, which will be activated as soon as the constitutional changes are approved.<\/p>\n
Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi announced the news himself through a post on social networks, where he writes that he and ministers Bujar Osmani, Kreshnik Bekteshi, Fatmir Besimi and Jeton Shaqiri submitted their resignations to Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.<\/p>\n
Two days ago, it was the Chairman of the DUI, Ali Ahmeti, who warned of such a scenario through a public letter addressed to Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.<\/p>\n
This was the request of the opposition party VMRO-MPMNE in order to vote on the constitutional changes and open the way to integration in the European Union.<\/p>\n
With the resignation of the Albanian ministers, the election of an Albanian prime minister in North Macedonia for the first time is also impossible, as was the case with the DUI agreement with the SDSM.<\/p>\n
After the readiness shown by DUI for the resignations, VMRO-DMPNE has declared that for the first time this political force is no longer a factor and that a new opposition front is being created in the Albanian political block that will really endanger DUI.<\/p>\n
While SDSM has asked VMRO-DMPNE to vote on the constitutional changes and show that they support the European agenda instead of blocking it.<\/p>\n

bearing in mind the name of the political subject to which I belong and which in principle has the integration of the country as in NATO, the EU and the close relations with the USA, bearing in mind the improper condition of the opposition to vote for the changes in the constitutional in the Assembly, being aware of the importance of integration and the dignified future of the Republic of North Macedonia,<\/p>\n
Dear Prime Minister, I am handing over my resignation from the position of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, which I ask you to activate at the moment when the opposition will vote and the proposed constitutional changes will come into force in the Assembly.<\/p>\n
I feel proud and honored by the trust of the leader Ali Ahmeti, the Democratic Union for Integration and the citizens, as well as by your trust to be part of the reforming and integrative government Cabinet and for the opportunity to serve our citizens,” he wrote.<\/p>\n
