From January 1 to June 30, a total of 17,415 visitors explored the landscapes of the Alps, with 7,670 being local tourists and 9,845 coming from abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The Albanian Alps encompass a treasure trove of natural wonders, including the Gashi River, the Valbona Valley, the Theth region, Vermosh, and Boga. With its diverse and contrasting terrain, traversed by valleys adorned with crystal-clear waters, gorges, and mountain passes that beckon you to delve deeper into nature, the Albanian Alps are truly a gem of unique value, not just for Albania but for the entire world.<\/p>\n<p>Stretching along the northern course of the Drin River and the western flow of the Valbona River (a tributary of the Drin), the Albanian Alps occupy about 8% of the country\u2019s territory.
