So, in the list published by the CIA, consumption is several times lower, regardless of perception.<\/span><\/p>\n The annual consumption per inhabitant is reported to be 4.4 liters, a quantity that takes Albanians far away from the first countries such as the Cook Islands, Latvia, the Czech Republic and Lithuania, where the annual rate of consumption per person exceeds 12 liters.<\/span><\/p>\n Even in relation to the region, Albanians, together with their neighbors in North Macedonia, are less inclined to drink alcohol, while the biggest drinkers live in Montenegro.
