{"id":59192,"date":"2023-08-28T18:28:12","date_gmt":"2023-08-28T16:28:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=59192"},"modified":"2023-08-28T18:28:12","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T16:28:12","slug":"albanians-want-expensive-car-they-spent-over-44-billion-lek-on-vehicles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/albanians-want-expensive-car-they-spent-over-44-billion-lek-on-vehicles\/","title":{"rendered":"Albanians want expensive car, they spent over 44 billion lek on vehicles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Albanians are buying more and more better, newer and more expensive cars.<\/p>\n<p>The last report of the General Directorate of Road Transport has highlighted that the costs to buy cars have increased.<\/p>\n<p>About 44.5 billion lek is the total invested by Albanians for the road vehicles they imported and registered for the first time, in the first 7 months of 2023.<\/p>\n<p>This figure is 31% more compared to 2022 and 55% more if we compare it with the eleventh period of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The data show that 42,238 vehicles were purchased and the average value per vehicle registered for the first time is 1,033,512 lek.<\/p>\n<p>If we compare it with a year ago, we see that the value of a car is 11.4% higher and 36% more than in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>For experts, these data show that Albanians are not only &#8220;motorizing strongly&#8221; but are also buying better, more environmentally friendly and safer vehicles.
