Albanian and Italian archaeologists are bringing to light the areas and objects of antiquity, bringing new evidence for this civilization from the most developed of that period in the Drino Valley.<\/p>\n<p>Antigonea was founded in the 4th century BC. It is the ancient city with the largest area in Albania.<\/p>\n<p>The most complete archaeological excavations that have identified the name and history of the city have been carried out and led by renowned archaeologist Dhimosten Budina.
