{"id":60943,"date":"2023-10-03T16:38:35","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T14:38:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=60943"},"modified":"2023-10-03T16:38:35","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T14:38:35","slug":"over-12000-drivers-fined-for-not-respecting-traffic-rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/over-12000-drivers-fined-for-not-respecting-traffic-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 12,000 drivers fined for not respecting traffic rules"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During the past week, 12,607 drivers have been fined by the Tirana Traffic Police for violating traffic rules.<\/p>\n<p>The police have carried out checks on all road axes.<\/p>\n<p>12 people were arrested or prosecuted at large for driving while drunk or without a driving license, as well as for violating traffic rules.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the checks was mainly on those drivers who park incorrectly causing heavy traffic, those who drive faster than the permitted rates and those who overtake incorrectly, becoming a source of accidents.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers of vehicles, among other things, were punished with an administrative measure, for using a mobile phone, for not giving priority to pedestrians on white lines, as well as for not wearing a seat belt.<\/p>\n<p>The traffic police of Tirana appeals to all drivers to respect the traffic rules in order not to become a potential risk for involvement in traffic incidents.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the past week, 12,607 drivers have been fined by the Tirana Traffic Police for violating traffic rules.
