The Federal Police Administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced on October 3 its intention to investigate allegations surrounding one of the Kosovo Serb leaders, Milan Radoji\u010di\u0107, who is accused of procuring weapons, ammunition, and powerful explosive devices from Tuzla, with the items ending up in Kosovo.<\/p>\n
The Federal Police Administration informed Radio Free Europe that they would initiate actions to verify the claims of Milan Radoji\u010di\u0107’s arms purchases from Tuzla, covering the period from January 2023 to September 24. They planned to request information from the authorities of the Republic of Serbia in the morning.<\/p>\n
Bosnia and Herzegovina\u2019s Minister of Interior Ramo Isak told Radio Free Europe that there was no information about any weapons in the Tuzla area related to the Milan Radoji\u010di\u0107 case.<\/p>\n
Additionally, when Radio Free Europe reached out to the Prosecutor\u2019s Office of the Tuzla Canton, they stated that there was no information available regarding weapons in this Bosnian city.<\/p>\n
Radoji\u010di\u0107, who acknowledged responsibility for orchestrating the attack in Banjska, was apprehended by Belgrade authorities on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The Belgrade Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office reported that they had conducted an interview with Radoji\u010di\u0107, who had previously admitted his role in organizing the Banjska attack, a village situated in north Kosovo.<\/p>\n
According to the Prosecutor\u2019s Office, Radoji\u010di\u0107 is under suspicion of \u201cacquiring weapons, ammunition, and powerful explosive devices from Tuzla in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the period from January 2023 until September 24\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Prosecutor\u2019s Office alleged that these weapons were transported to the territory of Belgrade, primarily in the suburbs of Bubanj Potok and Vr\u010din.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, Radoji\u010di\u0107 is said to have transported and concealed these weapons in undisclosed locations within Kosovo, such as abandoned structures and forests, as stated in the Prosecutor\u2019s official release.<\/p>\n
Radoji\u010di\u0107 has consistently denied involvement in the purported criminal activities.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the Serbian Ministry of Interior had announced the search of Radoji\u010di\u0107\u2019s residence and other premises, issuing a 48-hour restraining order against him. However, Radoji\u010di\u0107 was released just a day after being detained.<\/p>\n
On September 29, Radoji\u010di\u0107, who is on the U.S. blacklist due to suspected involvement in international organized crime, claimed responsibility for orchestrating the Banjska attack.<\/p>\n
In this village located in the municipality of Zvecan, armed Serb groups attacked Kosovo Police on September 24, resulting in the tragic death of police officer Afrim Bunjaku.<\/p>\n
Three attackers were also killed during the ensuing exchange of fire.<\/p>\n
Radoji\u010di\u0107 previously held the position of vice-chairman in the Serb List, the largest political party representing Kosovo Serbs. However, he resigned from this role on the same day he took responsibility for the Banjska attack.<\/p>\n
Kosovo\u2019s Minister of Interior Xhelal Sve\u00e7la indicated in an interview with Radio Free Europe on September 29 that Kosovo authorities, with the support of international partners, would seek Radoji\u010di\u0107\u2019s extradition from Serbia to Kosovo for his alleged involvement in planning and executing the Banjska terrorist action.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
