Accidents number during September increased by about 4.5% compared to September of last year. INSTAT data show that last month 93 road accidents were recorded out of 89 that occurred in 2022.<\/p>\n

During this period, it turns out that 122 citizens died and were injured, from 134 that were in September of the previous year.<\/p>\n

In 94.6% of cases, they occurred as a result of the driver’s behavior, committed by the 25-34 age group.<\/p>\n

In the month of September 2023, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Saturday, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Institute of Statistics also reports accidents for the 9th month of the year. According to INSTAT, there are 863 road accidents out of 884 accidents that occurred in the same period of the previous year. In this way, during the 9 months, the number of road accidents decreased by 2.4%.<\/p>\n

The number of accident victims is 1,189 people from 1,257 accident victims in the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n

Referring to the whole year, road accidents, in 11.5% of cases, occurred as a result of pedestrian behavior.<\/p>\n
