He underscored the importance of fulfilling commitments without compromising sovereignty and the nation\u2019s interests, as Kosovo\u2019s path towards NATO and the European Union is vital.<\/p>\n
Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 indicated that he would be in Brussels for discussions, leaving the possibility of a meeting with Kosovo\u2019s Prime Minister open. However, it is yet to be confirmed by Pristina or EU officials.<\/p>\n
European envoy Miroslav Laj\u010d\u00e1k stressed the urgency of reducing tensions and normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia. He noted that the events on September 24 hadn\u2019t changed the fact that both countries had agreed to a deal for normalization earlier this year.<\/p>\n
In Pristina, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, leader of the parliamentary group from the ruling Self-Determination Movement, disagreed with this approach, highlighting that the events of September 24 were a significant turning point and could not be ignored.<\/p>\n
Diplomats at the meeting of European Union foreign ministers discussed the events of September 24 and further talks are expected to occur during the upcoming summit of EU member state leaders.<\/p>\n
