Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Ko\u00e7iu, has held a meeting, at the “Zyber Hallulli” Orphanage, with children and youth who are attending various professional training courses.<\/p>\n

“Ensuring independent and dignified living, through acquiring knowledge, proper education and training them for the future, is our goal,” said Minister Ko\u00e7iu at the beginning of her speech.<\/p>\n

With the aim that the future and development of the children will be as healthy as possible, Minister Ko\u00e7iu has emphasized that the process of de-institutionalization will continue, which will serve for the security of their well-being.<\/p>\n

“Through education and professional training, social and family relations are strengthened. By having a profession you can get a job in the future. And by getting a job, you can also have a stable income, which helps you create a healthy family. By supporting children and youth that are part of our institutions with a good social care, it makes everyone fit for the labor market for a dignified life.” – said Minister Ko\u00e7iu.<\/p>\n

Also, the establishment of the home-family model and the youth center, as mentioned, aims not only to accommodate children and young people as best as possible, but also to develop their full potential, to provide a safe environment, family and support where youth are encouraged to follow their dreams.<\/p>\n

At the end of this activity, the Minister of Health and Social Protection distributed the evaluation certificates to all the children and youth present.<\/p>\n
