The love story of the couple Tefta Tashko and Kristaq Ko\u00e7o was presented over the weekend at the Andon Zako \u00c7ajupi theater in Kor\u00e7a.<\/p>\n

Screenwriter Angjelina Papalilo explained that she managed to bring in this film all the letters of the couple during their time of love, when Tefta was in Paris and Kristaq was in Bucharest.<\/p>\n
A story that no one had experienced like they did.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no one like Tefta Tashko and Kristaq Ko\u00e7o. They were so connected to each other, fell in love, and no other couple has experienced this kind of love. Even the angels became jealous and took them away quickly, they had a tragic fate. It\u2019s a wonderful story because both of them were colossi of Western Albanian art that emerged for the first time in the \u201830s and \u201840s. Both came from abroad, Tefta from Montpellier and Kristaq from Bucharest. They have such emotional correspondence, it\u2019s so beautiful that literature says it\u2019s a true \u2018Love Story\u2019,\u201d Papalilo explained.<\/p>\n
Even for the renowned director Ylli Pepo, the story of the Ko\u00e7o couple is very interesting.<\/p>\n
Precisely because of this reason, the entire filming crew and consultants had to take care to bring a film down to the smallest details, about the couple who unfortunately did not live long.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is a film built on the correspondence of the two meteors of Albanian art, at a time when they had just met each-other and started their musical activity, which at that time was extraordinary. An interesting fact that we discovered from the letters is that Tefta Tashko Ko\u00e7o was sought by the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Instead of America, she chose the altos of Lushnja and became a star who shone not only in music but also in Albanian social life, she emancipated Albanian women,\u201d Pepo stated.<\/p>\n
