{"id":62391,"date":"2023-11-06T15:56:33","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T14:56:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=62391"},"modified":"2023-11-06T15:56:33","modified_gmt":"2023-11-06T14:56:33","slug":"533-drivers-licenses-revoked-233-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/533-drivers-licenses-revoked-233-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"533 drivers&#8217; licenses revoked, 233 arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are dozens of drivers who are punished every day by the traffic police as a result of violating traffic rules.<\/p>\n<p>In October alone, 233 drivers were arrested, 138 of them were driving while drunk, while 95 did not have a license.<\/p>\n<p>Considered by road safety experts as the most dangerous contingent of drivers on the road, they are often the source of fatal accidents.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the arrests, the traffic police revoked the driving license of 533 drivers who were caught in violation.<\/p>\n<p>343 of them were punished for exceeding the speed limits, 90 for drunk driving and 100 for other violations of the Traffic Code, for which this punitive measure is provided:<\/p>\n<p>All these drivers will have to register again at the driving school to get their license back.<\/p>\n<p>According to the latest statistics of the general directorate of the road service, in the last 5 months, 687 people have been registered at the driving school, but only 87 have regained their license.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are dozens of drivers who are punished every day by the traffic police as a result of violating traffic rules.
