Until the completion of the works, the budget will finance another 5.1 billion lek, or 50 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>In the draft budget of 2024, the account tunnel will receive 50 million euros. This money will finance its complete completion, which will also lead to the opening of a new road towards the Riviera in the south.<\/p>\n<p>5.9 km long Llogara Tunnel is considered one of the most important engineering works in the country, and is expected to be completed in June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The commissioning of this tunnel will give a great development to the south of Albania and also an infrastructural connection that will be made with the airport of Vlora.<\/p>\n<p>The work on the construction of the Llogara Tunnel started on November 14, 2021 and the pace of the works has been within the forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>Tunnel starts from the bridge of \u2018Sh\u00ebn Eliza\u2019 in the area of \u200b\u200bDukat, to the bridge of Palasa. It will be traversed at a speed of up to 80 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p>Llogara Tunnel is located about 20 km south of Vlora, and has an investment value of 142 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>It is equipped on each side with sidewalks 1.17 m wide.
