Following discussions, the involved parties have reached an agreement on an action plan. This plan involves implementing preventive and regulatory measures within their respective areas of responsibility, focusing on coin usage and enhancing financial security. The Central Bank is set to review the coin deposit fee, while institutions will strengthen inter-institutional cooperation and promote the use of electronic payment methods through financial education campaigns.<\/p>\n
Citizens are strongly advised to minimize the use of cash, especially the 2-euro coin, and instead, prioritize the use of bank cards during transactions.<\/p>\n
