In just one week, the euro has gained almost two points. According to the exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, one euro is currently exchanged for around 104 ALL.<\/p>\n<p>This is the highest level of the European currency against the Lek, recorded in two months.<\/p>\n<p>For market experts, the departure of immigrants who came for the holidays may have affected the amount of euros in circulation, while it is expected that such a level will continue throughout this year with small fluctuations.<\/p>\n<p>The euro was devalued in 2023 by 18 points, at levels that were not predicted by economic experts or commercial agents who conclude contracts abroad, going down in July to 100.4 ALL.<\/p>\n<p>Other currencies, such as the American dollar and the British pound, have moved at the same pace, while the Bank of Albania has warned that it will intervene again, increasing the base interest rate as a way to return inflation to the target.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European currency has started this year, gaining points against the lek.
