This is Griseld Hoxha, the only photographer in Albania who makes “photoprints”, a young man from Durr\u00ebs, who recently opened his personal exhibition in Milan.<\/p>\n
“When photography affects the tissues of the city” was the title of Hoxha’s exhibition opened in Milan, where through 20 black and white photographs, he brought an x-ray of the real life of Durr\u00ebs and beyond.<\/p>\n
Only 24 years old, it was a galloping ascent in his career that came shortly after his participation in a group exhibition.<\/p>\n
“After the pandemic period ended, an organization was made to collect photos from the most difficult 2-year-old in Durr\u00ebs, from where I had most of the photos, followed by other colleagues, photographers and journalists, who made a collective exhibition “Urban life in Durr\u00ebs\u201d, says Griseld Hoxha, photographer.<\/p>\n
He found across the Adriatic what he had missed in his place of birth and upbringing.<\/p>\n
“From the side of the institutions, I had no financial support or any other kind of support at all”, says Griseld Hoxha.<\/p>\n
Hoxha produced the first photographic catalog “Photography that touches the tissues of the city”, which was presented at the Book Fair in Tirana and is soon expected to be promoted in the city of Durr\u00ebs.<\/p>\n
