{"id":65494,"date":"2024-02-02T19:40:26","date_gmt":"2024-02-02T18:40:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=65494"},"modified":"2024-02-02T19:40:26","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T18:40:26","slug":"svecla-for-3-parallel-municipalities-closure-in-kosovo-illegality-time-is-over","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/svecla-for-3-parallel-municipalities-closure-in-kosovo-illegality-time-is-over\/","title":{"rendered":"Sve\u00e7la for 3 parallel municipalities closure in Kosovo: Illegality time is over"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sve\u00e7la, announced today the closure of three parallel municipalities in the Dukagjin region.<\/p>\n<p>On his Facebook account, he wrote that the time of illegality has ended and the only institution of Serbia inside Kosovo will be its embassy in Pristina, reports Klan Kosova.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After a close coordination between the Kosovo Police, the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office and the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, by order of the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, the Police today developed an action to close the parallel structures of Serbia that have operated within the Republic of Kosovo.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the illegal municipality of Peja in Gorazhdec, in Osojan the parallel municipality of Istog and in Videja the parallel municipality of Klina, have been closed.<\/p>\n<p>We remain committed to strengthening the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, in full respect of our Constitution and its unity.<\/p>\n<p>The time of illegality has ended and the only institution of Serbia within the Republic of Kosovo will be its embassy in Pristina&#8221;, Sve\u00e7la wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sve\u00e7la, announced today the closure of three parallel municipalities in the Dukagjin region.
