The Turkish news agency Anadolu reports that within the framework of the visit, the first meeting of the Turkey-Albania High Level Cooperation Council will be held in Ankara, under the leadership of Erdogan and Rama.<\/p>\n

“At the meeting of the Council, all aspects of Turkey-Albania relations will be examined and the steps that can be taken for the further deepening of bilateral cooperation will be discussed.<\/p>\n

During the meetings with Albania, a NATO ally, ideas will be exchanged on bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments, especially in the Balkans, on the basis of understanding for the preservation of peace and stability.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the meeting, the signing of various legal texts that will make an important contribution to Turkey-Albania relations is also planned,” writes Anadolu writes.<\/p>\n

On January 29 of this year, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made his first visit to Tirana, where he reaffirmed the strategic relations between the two countries, while repeating Ankara’s official call for Albania to clean up what it called the last remnants of FETO, the organization of Fetullah Gulen, whom Erdogan calls a terrorist.<\/p>\n
