On this occasion, young people lit fires as a symbol of this day.<\/p>\n<p>Residents say that the lighting of fires indicates the end of the winter season and the arrival of spring.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These are pagan holidays that have been preserved for centuries. This is how we found them, this is how we are broadcasting them. It shows the passing of winter, spring is coming, blood and time are changing,\u201d said an elderly.<\/p>\n<p>On Summer&#8217;s Day, Orthodox believers prepare their traditional dishes and set the summer season. Summer&#8217;s Day is celebrated for Orthodox believers on this day because of the Gregorian calendar.
