The special envoy of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Laj\u010d\u00e1k, has announced discussions with the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislim, where the dinar will be discussed as an issue.<\/p>\n

This statement of his comes after Bislimi had refused to go to Brussels to talk about the dinar.<\/p>\n

Laj\u010d\u00e1k told about the agenda he developed last week, where, among other things, he met with the Kosovo delegation from the CBK (Central Bank of Kosovo), and the Serbian side, where it was discussed how “Serbia can help the Serbs in Kosovo”.<\/p>\n

However, Laj\u010d\u00e1k has admitted that there are still political questions that need further discussion.<\/p>\n

“The main point of my agenda in Brussels last week was the meeting between the representatives of Kosovo and Serbia to find answers to the open questions about the recent decision of the Central Bank of Kosovo on cash operation – more specifically, the issue of Serbia’s aid to the people living in Kosovo.
\nI welcomed the commitment of both delegations to engage constructively in finding a lasting solution for the affected communities. The meeting was an important first step; however, many political questions remain and additional talks will be needed in the coming days. This is the reason why as an immediate next step I will have a follow-up discussion with the first deputy prime minister and chief negotiator of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi”, wrote Laj\u010d\u00e1k on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Laj\u010d\u00e1k also showed the rest of the agenda, where he mentioned the Diplomacy Forum that was held in Antalya, Turkey.<\/p>\n
