Foreign media have published photos of two victims in Greece, between them is an 21-year-old Albanian woman.<\/p>\n
This morning, a 21-year-old Albanian woman and a 68-year-old Greek woman lost their lives while waiting for the bus at the Patridas station in Veria, when suddenly a car driven by a 64-year-old man entered the opposite direction and collided with them.<\/p>\n
As a result of the collision, the 68-year-old woman, who was thrown about 25 meters away, died instantly, while the 21-year-old woman was sent seriously injured to the hospital in Veria, where, unfortunately, she could not survive.<\/p>\n
“We went down and saw what happened. There was a great noise. It was like an earthquake! There are no words, what to say. We lost one of our youngest neighbors. I saw the car in my yard and the woman jumped 25 feet. I didn’t see the girl at all. Both expected to go to Veria. The driver said he was dizzy,” said one resident, describing the shocking scenes he saw.<\/p>\n
Friends and colleagues of the 21-year-old were at the scene, who were obviously shocked by the event and with the words that came out of their mouths with difficulty said: “The girl was waiting here at the bus stop to go to the hospital to see her aunt. She was studying nursing.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 64-year-old driver, who is suspected to be unwell and therefore lost control of the car, as a result went in the opposite direction and caused the accident, was arrested, but was released on a verbal order from the prosecutor, while he is being treated for minor injuries at the North Hospital.<\/p>\n
