The main problems of the country have been the focus of the last Barometer in Euronews Albania.<\/p>\n
Among the 15 main problems of the country, migration (54.8%), high prices (42.1%), cost of living (36.2%) and unemployment (34.3%) are at the top of them during this period.<\/p>\n
Then ranked 5th in importance is corruption (26.9%), the level of criminality in the country (17.5%), health (15.6%), education (11%) and the aging of the population (9.8%).<\/p>\n
In the last group of the country’s problems faced this days, Albanians list pensions (8.7%), the justice system (5.5%), taxation (4.9%), the quality of democracy (2.2%), drugs (2%) and the environment (1.2%).<\/p>\n
What stands out by analyzing the previous data in the Barometer measurements with the latest ones is the movement in the ranking of problems for citizens. In 2021, the main group of problems were the economy (53.1%), unemployment (49.2%) and corruption (46.5%). Today, corruption has moved down the order of importance (26.9%) and has given way to migration (54.8%), followed by high prices (42.1%) and cost of living (36.2%).<\/p>\n
As for the country’s problems today, Albanians have a difference influenced by their political approach to some of them.<\/p>\n
Regarding migration, there are more opposition voters who consider it a major problem (57.3%) compared to those who are voters of the Socialist Party (55.2%). The biggest difference between their assessments is about corruption as a problem. The measurements show that (37.6%) of those who assess corruption as a problem in the country are voters of the Democratic Party and (19.2%) of those who assess corruption as a problem are voters of the Socialist Party.<\/p>\n
For other problems, socialist and democratic voters are very similar in their evaluation as such.<\/p>\n\r\n
