While the Italian Prime Minister, Georgia Meloni, was in Lezha today to visit the works in the migrant camp, some activists gathered in protest against her arrival.<\/p>\n

During Meloni and Rama speeches, activists protested with banners in their hands and Benito Mussolini’s speech in the background.<\/p>\n

“April 7, 1939, Albania is Italian, November 5,” read the banner that the activists unfurled.<\/p>\n

The activists were escorted by the Police and are being held in the premises of the police station, while they are still being interrogated.<\/p>\n

As it is learned, the activists belong to the group which a little while ago also held a protest in front of the Constitutional Court at the time when the migrants’ agreement with Italy was being discussed there.<\/p>\n

The agreement between Prime Ministers Edi Rama and Giorgia Meloni envisages the accommodation in Gjad\u00ebr of African migrants who will return from Italy, who will stay there until a decision is made about their ‘fate’ in the neighboring country.<\/p>\n
