Hundreds of visitors from all over Albania this weekend became part of the “Dream on lavender” activity organized by the municipality of Gramsh, in the lavender fields. This activity aims to promote the wonderful nature of this area.<\/p>\n
“It is a really small town, but recently it has been promoted quite a lot, and it has also shown that there are very beautiful tourist spots, so it is worth coming to Gramsh.”<\/span><\/p>\n “To tell the truth, it is worth a lot, and apart from its beauty, it is also worth promoting for its hard work. Because it is not so simple and easy to make all this plantation that is, and all the other plantations that you have seen all the time when you came here.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe came from Tirana because we found it very interesting. The environment, the flowers, everything beautiful. More events like this one would be a pleasure for us locals, but also for tourists, why not.”<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt is definitely very important, and lately it is being promoted a lot and it is a very good thing because Gramshi has many beautiful places that are worth visiting. I say Holland has tulips, we have lavender. I was in Amsterdam a couple of months ago and as they have done with tulips, maybe we can do it in Gramsh and Albania with lavender fields.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n “Except for the road that left a lot to be desired, the rest is worth it, it’s even worth it.”<\/span><\/p>\n The municipality of Gramshi aims to turn such activities into a tradition while committing to improving the road infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n “Gramshi offers a variety of tourist destinations, and my goal is that within 4 years, Gramshi will not only be well-known, but the main destination for mountain and adventure tourism. Gramshi has 96 villages, 10 administrative units and a lot of work and cooperation with the government is needed as the municipality cannot extend endless kilometers of mountain roads with asphalt”, said Besjan Ajazi, Mayor of Gramsh Municipality.<\/span><\/p>\n Levando has decorated the hills along the Devoll river, while Gramshi promises a lot in terms of tourism.
