Albania is a cheap destination for foreign tourists. This is the main reason that many of them see Albanian country as the ideal place for vacations.<\/p>\n
“I come from England, it was the first choice to spend 3 days. We came only for the weekend, everything here is very cheap, food, transport, hotels”, says a tourist.<\/p>\n
Travel agencies say that most tourists are interested in finding cheap accommodation and packages. They say that the level of tourists who come to Albania en masse is not what is expected.<\/p>\n
“To some extent we can say that economic tourists have come to Albania, they don’t spend much because they stay in apartments rather than guest houses, they try to eat food in supermarkets”, says Fjorida Zani, tourist operator.<\/p>\n
The first 6 months of 2024 have been successful as far as foreigners who have come to Albania are concerned, where so far every month more than 1 million tourists have entered Albanian country.<\/p>\n
