The Ministry of Defense in Kosovo has responded firmly to the repeated claim of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, that “Kosovo’s “Bayraktar” drones were set up on June 5 and 20 in Gjakova”, \u00a0and that according to him, “have observed the movements of the Serbian army”.<\/p>\n

Describing Vu\u010di\u0107\u2019s claim as disinformation and in support of Russian-Serbian propaganda, the Ministry of Defense in Kosovo clarifies that “the Kosovo Security Force does not coordinate drone operations outside the borders of the country.”<\/p>\n

“The Kosovo Security Force has the Unmanned Aerial Systems unit within it. This unit is designed to operate with Unmanned Aircraft and normally performs operations with TB2 drones as well. There is no news that we operate or coordinate with anyone outside the borders of Kosovo. The purpose of our air capabilities is to support operations within the territory of Kosovo”, says the reaction.<\/p>\n

President Vu\u010di\u0107 himself stated that they saw the “Bayraktar” drones, but did not intervene, as the area is under the control of KFOR.<\/p>\n
