The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania has reacted regarding the 1st anniversary of the terrorist attack by the Serbian armed group in Banjska of Zve\u00e7an in Kosovo.<\/p>\n

Through a post on the ‘X’ social network, the Foreign Ministry recalls the sacrifice of the Kosovo Police officer, Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed during the exchange of fire.<\/p>\n

The Ministry also writes that it is unacceptable that those responsible for this attack are still at large.<\/p>\n

It is also written in the announcement that Albania welcomes the decision of the Kosovo Prosecutor’s Office to file an indictment against the suspects for “organizing and carrying out this brutal attack”.<\/p>\n

Today marks one year since the terrorist attack by the Serbian armed group in Banjska, where the police sergeant of the Kosovo Police, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed.<\/p>\n

Remembering with respect, the sacrifice of Afrim Bunjak, Albania supports Kosovo in its efforts and achievements, for the establishment of the rule of law throughout the territory of the country.<\/p>\n

It is unacceptable that the perpetrators responsible for this crime still remain at large. Justice must be served without delay or excuses.<\/p>\n

Albania welcomes the decision of the Kosovo Prosecutor’s Office to indict the suspects for organizing and carrying out this brutal attack. Accountability is key to preventing de-escalations and consolidating peace throughout the region.<\/p>\n
