“I am not a servant of Russia nor of the USA,” said the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, in his speech at the United Nations. Meanwhile, in his special meetings at the UN, Kosovo was the main topic of conversation with diplomats from China and Iran.<\/p>\n

During the speech at the UN General Assembly, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, said that his country has its own policies and interests and is not a servant of “neither Russia nor the United States”.<\/p>\n

He added that his country respects the UN Charter and the territorial integrity of Ukraine, as he said that the countries do not respect resolution 1244 and the “territorial integrity of Serbia”.<\/p>\n

He repeated accusations against the West that it has disregarded the UN Charter when the then former Yugoslavia was bombed by NATO, bombings that led to the liberation of Kosovo.<\/p>\n

The authorities in Kosovo have accused Serbia of being an “extended hand of Russia” and that Moscow is trying to destabilize Kosovo through Serbia.<\/p>\n

Serbia has good relations with Russia and is among the few countries in Europe that has not joined the EU sanctions against Moscow, for the launch of the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.<\/p>\n

During his stay in the USA, Vu\u010di\u0107 also met with the president of and, as he emphasized, the special topic of the conversation was the situation in Kosovo.<\/p>\n

Vu\u010di\u0107 wrote on Instagram that he thanked Iran for “its steadfast and determined stance regarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia”.<\/p>\n

Kosovo was one of the topics of Vucic’s conversation with the head of Chinese diplomacy, Wang Yi. Vu\u010di\u0107 also emphasized that Serbia is grateful to China after voting against the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica in the United Nations General Assembly in May of this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
