{"id":7151,"date":"2021-01-07T16:26:35","date_gmt":"2021-01-07T16:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/website.euronews.al\/en\/i-pakategorizuar\/2021\/01\/07\/durrsi-port-concession-winning-company-responds-to-inquiry-from-euronews-albania\/"},"modified":"2021-01-07T16:26:35","modified_gmt":"2021-01-07T16:26:35","slug":"durrsi-port-concession-winning-company-responds-to-inquiry-from-euronews-albania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/durrsi-port-concession-winning-company-responds-to-inquiry-from-euronews-albania\/","title":{"rendered":"Durrsi port concession, winning company responds to inquiry from Euronews Albania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The company that won the 5-year tender to take over the management and operation of the Container Terminal at the Durres Port, Hili Company Limited, responded to an inquiry from Euronews Albania asking for their side of the story over accusations raised by the Democratic Party on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The company ruled out claims raised by DP over their \u201calleged involvement in the Panama Papers scandal\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe categorically deny that any of our companies or beneficial owners are connected to the Panama Papers,\u201d said the company in its response via e-mail.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the company also dismissed other accusations made by former Democrat MP, Jorida Tabaku, that the \u201coffshore company was involved in money laundering charges\u201d and that \u201cthe administrator was under investigation in Malta\u201d over the same charges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll our companies are registered with known ultimate beneficial owners and none are nominees.
