After the Secretariat of Ethics decided to exclude MP Gazment Bardhi and 23 other opposition colleagues from plenary sessions and parliamentary commissions, the head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group reacted through a post on X.<\/p>\n

Bringing attention to the prison sentences against his colleagues from the Democratic Party, Bardhi said that the 60-day exclusion from the Assembly shows a low and cowardly gesture of Prime Minister Rama.<\/p>\n

Full Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“They put you in prison without the law and evidence, no longer expel you from the Assembly without the law and evidence. The exclusion of the opposition for a month from the Assembly proves how small and cowardly Edi Rama is! You will have us in front of you, inside or outside the Assembly! You set fire to that crime hall!<\/p>\n

Hide as much as you want, exclude, imprison as much as you want, you cannot change your fate! It has been determined by the overwhelming majority of Albanians who despise the rise of organized crime in government and the transformation of institutions into gangs against the opposition.”<\/p>\n

The Secretariat of Ethics has today excluded MPs Gazment Bardhi, Flamur Noka and Bledion Nallbati from the Parliamentary Commissions and plenary sessions for 60 days.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, MP Edi Paloka has been suspended from parliamentary activities for 10 days.<\/p>\n

While the other 20 MPs were expelled for 40 days.<\/p>\n

Monday’s session lasted only 13 minutes and was interrupted due to numerous tensions. The opposition MPs initially blocked the pulpit and started throwing hard objects at the speaker of the assembly.<\/p>\n

Then they took the chairs out of the hall and burned them in the yard.<\/p>\n

This act was condemned by the majority.<\/p>\n
