Albania will open the first group-chapter of its membership in the European Union on Wednesday in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n

European Council has revealed the agenda of the inter-ministerial meeting, where the judicial system, fundamental rights, justice, freedom and security, as well as public procurement and financial control will be discussed.<\/p>\n

Following the presentation of the revised methodology for the accession negotiations in 2020, the negotiating chapters are divided into six thematic groups: Basics; Internal market; Competitiveness and inclusive growth; Green agenda and sustainable links; Resources, agriculture and cohesion; and foreign relations.<\/p>\n

Negotiations for the Basics group are opened first and closed last. Progress in this group will determine the overall pace of negotiations.<\/p>\n

After the separation from North Macedonia, Albania takes a step forward in joining the European Union.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Rama will be present for the opening of the first group-chapter tomorrow in Luxembourg, who will participate in the conference that will be held on this issue at 9:25.<\/p>\n
