According to Numbeo agency data for 2024, to buy an apartment in the capital, a family must work for 15 years and 3 months. This estimate takes into account the combination of price per square meter and average household income.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In this list of 293 cities in the world, Tirana ranks fifth in Europe, after Lisbon, where a family will need 19 years and 5 months to buy an apartment. After Lisbon, in the ranking are Paris and Split with 17.8 years, while Milan has a period of 16.3 years to complete the purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The data show an increase in the time needed to afford the purchase of a property in Tirana. In 2023, citizens needed 17.5 years, while in 2022 this number was 15.7 years.
