Through a post on social networks, Begaj stated that the will of the voters should be conceived based on open, transparent and constructive debate, on the civil confrontation of alternatives, misuse of administrative and electoral power, or illegal electoral offers.<\/p>\n

This power of the electors should not be reduced only to a calendar date that the President of the Republic sets for the Albanians with the aim of them expressing their will. This essential process for democracy must be transformed into a genuine display of civic participation and engagement.
