A deputy of the Albanian parliament has a basic salary of 3150 euros gross, while 2250 euros are deposited into his bank account per month.<\/p>\n
This is only part of the benefit of working as a legislator, as his income increases from work in parliamentary committees, royalties, reimbursement of fuel, rent, telephone and other payments which guarantee a total benefit of up to 4000 euros.<\/p>\n
Even in the region, deputies are privileged, but according to the states, the compared salary is lower or higher.<\/p>\n
Thus, in Kosovo, with the law in force, deputies and ministers are paid the basic salary of 1720 euros.<\/p>\n
In North Macedonia, MPs have a basic salary of 121,600 denars, or 2 thousand euros. If they are part of the parliamentary committees, the benefits increase and exceed 2100 euros.<\/p>\n
In Montenegro, the salary of a deputy is calculated every month for the work performed, but on average it is at the level of 2000 euros. In November, for example, 28 MPs out of 81 exceeded this salary.<\/p>\n
Among the neighboring countries, even in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a similar monthly amount is paid, with the figure reaching between 1,800 and 2,500 euros.<\/p>\n
