About 10,000 people presented themselves during a week to the family doctor or medical emergency as a result of being affected by seasonal viruses and flu.<\/p>\n

The monitoring of the Institute of Public Health has proven that for 4 weeks the number of citizens seeking the help of a doctor has decreased, from 12,208 at the beginning of November to 10,440 at the beginning of December.<\/p>\n

In the last week, it is reported that 7087 people are affected by upper respiratory infections and 3353 lower respiratory infections.<\/p>\n

For experts, this is a low-intensity activity of virus circulation in the population.<\/p>\n

Children up to 5 years old are the ones who predominate among the patients who want the doctor’s help.<\/p>\n

Cases of upper and lower infections are spread throughout Albania, but Gjirokastra, Durr\u00ebsi, Fieri and Hasi have high numbers of patients.<\/p>\n

Epidemiologists inform us that we currently have several viruses circulating, influenza type A and COVID-19.<\/p>\n
